Role Overview
As a Senior Account Executive, you will serve as the day-to-day lead on assigned partners, managing campaign execution while providing strategic input to account managers and directors. You will mentor junior colleagues, build trusted media relationships, and help translate partner goals into integrated communications programmes across earned, owned, and shared channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead planning and delivery of multi-market PR initiatives, ensuring activities align with agreed objectives, timelines, and budgets
- Draft and refine clear, compelling materials, including press releases, op-eds, briefing documents, speeches, and social content
- Cultivate and maintain journalist, influencer, and industry relationships; proactively pitch stories and manage interview logistics
- Monitor news, competitor activity, and sector trends to identify timely opportunities and potential issues for partners
- Analyse results, prepare insightful reports, and present optimisation recommendations to senior consultants and partner stakeholders
- Guide and review work produced by junior account executives and interns, fostering their professional development
- Coordinate with creative, digital, and production vendors to deliver integrated assets on schedule and within scope
- Support new business efforts through research, proposal development, and participation in pitches when required
Requirements
- Three to five years of public relations agency or in-house communications experience, preferably covering multiple Southeast Asian markets
- Proven ability to lead day-to-day account work, manage deadlines, and maintain strong media relationships
- Advanced written and spoken English; additional proficiency in a regional language is advantageous
- Solid understanding of digital and social media integration, along with familiarity with monitoring and outreach tools such as Meltwater, Cision, or similar
- Strong analytical skills and confidence using data to evaluate performance and guide decision-making
- Collaborative mindset, mentoring aptitude, and readiness to work across time zones within core Singapore working hours
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
